squintyoureyes: True Grit (2010) Spoiler alert: It was awesome. I am kind of obsessed with this movie right now.  It may be my favorite Coen brothers movie (although I’ve only seen maybe five of them total), which probably means I’m just not a true fan of theirs, since this one lacked their usual amount of subversion.  It was, however, a mighty fine western.
