i’m getting old

It’s my senior year of college, and everyone I know who graduated recently is scaring me because all I hear is “Man, I miss college so much!”  I still have a few months to go, but I think by the time spring rolls around, I’ll be ready for that diploma.  I joked yesterday to someone that I was never a teenager, I turned 12 and then I turned 25.  It’s probably more truth than joke.

How I know I’m too old for this shizz:

1. I wake up every day around 7 to go to the gym before school/work.

2. This means I’m ready for bed around 10pm each night.

3.  I take multivitamins every day.

4. I shake my head at the teens and their enabling parents when my boyfriend makes me watch “Teen Mom” on MTV.  It makes me feel sad about the world.  I HATE that show.

5. I like to save the good articles in “Newsweek,” which I subscribe to.

6. I’ve had passionate conversations with multiple people about the value of a good standing mixer for one’s kitchen in the past couple of weeks.

7. Marriage has become a serious looming question for some of my friends.

8. I still don’t have internet on my cell phone.

9. Clubbing in Vegas often sounds like more work than fun these days.

10. My favorite cereal has become Raisin Bran Crunch.

11. I drink at happy hours now, not parties.

12. I’ve debated using Mint.com to balance my finances.  That site is kind of amazing.

13. The reason I don’t have an account there is because I am worried that hackers will steal my bank account information.
